The Hawk roosting conflict is about a hawk described as a powerful creator, who has more authority than god. The use of metaphor makes the hawk seem dominant and dynamic. The word roosting meant that the hawk was relaxed meaning he did not fear no other creation. The poem demonstrate the hawk as powerful and deadly, and does not regret killing it’s prey. The hawk practise killing its prey because its good at attacking and killing. Even when the hawk is sleeping it dreams about assassinating its prey. Nature is helping the hawk when it quotes ‘ My feet are locked upon the rough bark’ The hawk is locked physically ready to bounce the target is locked.’ The convenience of the high trees the airs buoyancy and sun rays’  The hawk is arrogant and thinks its better than the creator when it phase ‘ Now I hold creation in my foot’ the hawk think its capable of doing anything. The bird has locked down in position its unstoppable. ‘It took the whole of creation to produce my foot ‘ the state suggest that was made in the image of god however the hawk is portrayed better than god itself. The hawk mimic power of creation and nature.
